The UW-GCRC nursing staff is comprised of the clinical nurse manager, three scatter-bed clinical nurse specialists (at the UW Children's Hospital, the UW Pediatrics Specialty Clinic, and Meriter Hospital/Park), and 15 staff nurses. This staff provides expert care for research subjects while on the UW-GCRC and collaborates with investigators for the coordination and performance of clinical research.

Lisa Davis, RD, MS, is the UW-GCRC research bionutritionist. Ms. Davis reviews the dietary component of all studies submitted to the UW-GCRC.  Investigators whose studies have sophisticated nutrition requirements or any unusual dietary needs should contact Ms. Davis early in the development of the research project.

Protocol Manager, Financial Assistant Danielle Gale assists the director and administrator in supporting the work of the GCRC Advisory Committee, the Long-Range Planning Committee, and the Data and Safety Monitoring committee. She collects and maintains data on research projects and finances; prepares publication material; maintains patient census and billing; and handles other NIH-mandated recordkeeping functions.
