The Geriatrics InstituteThe Geriatrics Institute is affiliated with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine's Milwaukee Clinical Campus at Aurora Sinai Medical Center. Primary care and consultation are provided by faculty geriatricians and other medical professionals who specialize in working with older adults. Nurse clinicians and practitioners, case managers, therapists, a social worker and a psychologist make up the Geriatric Institute team of professionals.Services include: Comprehensive geriatric assessment; Primary care; Case management; Social work and assistance; Continence evaluation and referral; Dementia evaluation clinic; Falls prevention; Community wellness center, Geriatric psychiatry; Research and education; Physical therapy/rehabilitation/evaluation; Hearing loss evaluation; ACE unit (acute care for elderly); GEM program (geriatric evaluation and management); Consultation service for physicians. Payment-all insurances accepted. Non english services provided-Russian and Spanish always available. Spanish speaking physician available. Other languages need advanced notice for interpretation.
